  • Passed Senior Secondary (10+2) from a recognised board
  • Minimum 70% aggregate marks in PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics)
  • Minimum 50% marks in English — either in Class X or Class XII
  • Must have appeared in JEE (Main) 2026 for B.E./B.Tech

Gender-wise Vacancy Distribution

Both men and women can apply. A maximum of 8 vacancies are reserved for women — 4 each in Mechanical Engineering and Electronics & Communication Engineering.

Selection Process – Step by Step

JEE (Main) 2026 CRL-Based Shortlisting

There is no separate written exam for this entry. Candidates are shortlisted purely on the basis of their JEE (Main) 2026 All India Common Rank List (CRL) published by NTA. Naval Headquarters reserves the right to fix a cut-off rank. Candidates must correctly fill their CRL rank in the application form.

SSB Interview Centres & Schedule

Shortlisted candidates will attend SSB (Service Selection Board) interviews at:

  • Bengaluru, Bhopal, Kolkata, and Visakhapatnam

Interviews are scheduled from September 2026 onwards. Candidates will be notified via SMS and email.

Medical Examination Standards & Guidelines

  • Candidates already declared medically fit for NDA/INA Jan 27 need not repeat the medical exam
