Capt. (IN) Madhukar Tyagi served in the Indian Navy, commissioning on 1st July 1988 and retiring on 15th June 2017, after 28 years of distinguished service in the Executive Branch. A product of the National Defence Academy (NDA), he gained valuable experience early in his career as a Divisional Officer at NDA from June 1993 to January 1995. He went on to specialize as a Group Testing Officer (GTO), serving at 33 SSB, Bhopal from February 2003 to May 2005. His expertise as a Senior GTO extended across multiple assignments, including 33 SSB Bhopal from May 2006 to May 2009, NSB Coimbatore from May 2009 to May 2011, 33 SSB Bhopal from May 2011 to August 2014, and finally NSB Vizag from August 2014 to June 2017, accumulating a total of 13 years of experience in GTO roles.

Post-retirement, Capt. Tyagi has contributed 6 years of experience in coaching, training numerous batches at leading institutions like Balnoi Academy Dehradun, Mentors Academy Dehradun, and Doon Indian Defence Academy. His extensive experience in the Indian Navy and as a GTO makes him a highly knowledgeable and sought-after mentor in defence coaching.
