Up to 25% of top-performing Agniveer Vayu from each batch will be offered the opportunity to apply for permanent enrollment into the regular cadre of the Indian Air Force. This selection will be based on their performance and merit during their four-year engagement period. This process ensures continued service and a long-term career path within the Air Force.

Agniveer Vayu who demobilize after their four-year service will be equipped with a comprehensive support package to facilitate their transition into successful civilian careers:
‘Seva Nidhi’ Package: A substantial, tax-exempt financial package of approximately ₹10.04 lakhs, accumulated from their and the government’s contributions to the Agniveer Corpus Fund.
