• The Ministry of Space should transfer technology related to Small Satellite Launcher (SSLV) to eligible Indian companies. • Where tomatoes are bought from the south and west to sell them in the cities in the north.

 Ministry of Defense and FSSAI signed MoU to promote use of millet.

• Disputes in Myanmar and the South China Sea are high on the agenda of the ASEAN meeting in Indonesia.

 North Korea fired a ballistic missile from the Pyongyang region into waters off its east coast.  Pakistan received final IMF approval for a $3 billion loan under standby provisions

 NASA uses new photos to celebrate the anniversary of the Webb telescope.

• India’s Nishad Kumar won silver in men’s high jump at the International Para Athletics Championships.

 Wimbledon Tennis: India’s Rohan Bopanna and his partner Matthew Ebden will compete in the men’s second round.

 US Open Super 300 badminton tournament: Indian tourney PV Sindhu defeated American opponent Disha Gupta.

• Israel’s parliament has approved a law that would limit the powers of the Supreme Court. The vote resulted in a 64-56 majority in favor, with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s right-wing coalition ruling the opposition. Government protesters were forcibly removed from the building before the election, prompting police complaints. • The Telangana High Court recently ruled in a landmark case, declaring the Telangana Eunuch Law unconstitutional. The law, as it has been in place since 1919, was found to be discriminatory and a violation of the human rights of the transgender community

• The aviation education scene in India has seen a major boost with the establishment of the first Flight Training Organization (FTO) in Tamil Nadu by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA).

 Telangana Chief Justice Ujjal Bhuyan and Kerala Chief Justice S. The President appointed Venkatanarayana Bhatti as a judge of the Supreme Court.

 The Chief Electoral Officer of India, Shri Rajiv Kumar, along with representatives from the Election Commission of India (ECI), recently attended the 11th Board meeting of the Association of Global Electoral Bodies (A-WEB) in Cartagena, Colombia.  Luis Suárez Miramontes, also known as the ‘Golden Galician’, has sadly died at the age of 88. He was the only Spaniard to win football’s most prestigious award, the Ballon d’Or. Hailing from Galicia in northwestern Spain, Suárez had many successes in Italy with Inter, where he lifted trophies such as the European Cup in 1964 and 1965, as well as three Italian league titles.
